Vitamin D for Cardiovascular Health

During winter, taking Vitamin D is a must because sun exposure is reduced, and your body fails to produce sufficient levels of it. Many studies show that Vitamin D supports heart health, another outstanding reason to take D-Sorb.  Vitamin D, known for many positive health benefits, has been shown to reduce cardiovascular inflammation and atherosclerosis.

In 2010, medical researchers at the Intermountain Medical Center Heart Institute in Murray, Utah, reviewed more than 9,000 individuals to determine their vitamin D intake and cardiovascular health. They found that those who increased their Vitamin D intake were 33% less likely to suffer a heart attack and 20% less likely to develop heart failure. Results of a second study of approximately 41,000 people found that patients with severe Vitamin D deficiency were most likely to have been diagnosed with heart disease or stroke.

There are cautions about taking too much Vitamin D, however.  Just follow the dosage recommendation on the D-Sorb label.  D-Sorb™ features 2000 IU of Vitamin D3 in easy-to-swallow softgels. The unique patented, VESIsorb® lipid-based delivery system provides superior absorption and bioavailability.
