Safe Shot

The Gardasil Vaccine, which protects against human papillomavirus and cervical caner, doesn't raise girls' risk of any serious adverse effects, such as seizures, strokes, and blood clots, according to a new study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The CDC recommends the vaccine for girls ages 9 and up.
