Allston-Brighton Baby is a ministry of St. Luke's & St. Margaret's Church. We distribute 30 disposable diapers (per family) free each month to needy Allston-Brighton families. The diapers are available in size 1 to size 6.
The monthly distribution is scheduled for the third Friday of each month from 6 to 8 PM at the church, which is on the corner of Brighton Ave & St. Lukes Rd, near Packard's Corner (see the page "Directions" for more detail on how to get here).
The distribution also includes a clothing and toy exchange. Parents are asked to bring outgrown clean clothing or outgrown toys in good condition, if they have some to pass along to other parents.
We have partnerships with Welcome Baby, Pregnancy Help, WIC and the Allston-Brighton CDC. Referrals come from these agencies as well as from the Allston-Brighton APAC/Headstart.
