Ingredients:
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1 lb ground beef, shaped into patties
1/2 cup onions, chopped
4 English muffins, split, toasted and buttered
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1/2 lb mushrooms, sliced
Cooking Directions:
Melt butter in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Sauté mushrooms, onion, thyme and salt to taste 2 minutes or until softened. Transfer to a bowl. Set aside and keep warm. Cook burgers in same skillet 4-5 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Serve on bottom muffin halves topped with mushroom mixture and remaining muffin halves.Nutrition Facts
