Tune In May 3: Secretary of Education Arne Duncan Talks to Moms

Secretary Duncan will speak to parents about the crucial role that they play in helping implement America's goals for improving the country's school system.

Parenting.com will webcast the Secretary's Town Hall presentation live from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. on May 3rd from 10:45-11:45am EDT.  To view the webcast, visit www.parenting.com/momcongress.

Duncan will be joined on stage by 51 moms, representing each state and Washington, D.C., who were chosen by Parenting magazine to attend the first annual Mom Congress on Education and Learning conference for their outstanding accomplishments in the fight for better schools.

Each of the 51 Mom Congress delegates received an all-expense paid trip from Parenting to Washington D.C. to attend the event May 2nd through May 4th, and will work towards creating Parenting's "Lesson Plan for Change", a guide to help empower parents nationwide to get more involved in their children's education.
