Stay Safe While Having Fun

Guest Post by Susana Moore

When somebody mentions the word summer to you, what do you think of? A nice day at the beach? Sitting around the house doing nothing in particular? Well, whatever you might choose, it is important to stay safe while you're doing it. A trip to the doctor is never a fun thing, right?

1. Never go a prolonged period without drinking a glass of water. With the outside temperature reaching high levels, you or a loved one could become a victim of severe dehydration. Make sure that it is always within reach, no matter where you are.

2. A person or animal should never be left inside a hot car. This is quite dangerous, and if left long enough, this action could even lead to death. Roll the windows down or turn on the air conditioner if you absolutely must leave them to complete a chore for a few moments. Don't forget, should you have a Home Security Alarm, set it before leaving the home to do these errands. If you don’t, you can always get one from allhomesecurity.com

3. Wear plenty of sunscreen to keep your skin safe. This will not only save you from painful sunburn, but you will also prevent problems with your skin later down the line. The sunscreen should not be applied in only one or two spots; rub it in any exposed areas.
